ALAN HALLIBURTON

STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Alan formed Halliburton Investor Relations in 1990, believing there was a market need for an investor relations firm that would provide a level of service not commonly found in the industry. The firm has served numerous public companies, providing comprehensive investor relations and financial communications programs of the highest quality.

Prior to forming HIR, Alan was Vice President of Investor Relations for Texas Industries, a Fortune 500 company, and for its subsidiary, Chaparral Steel. Under his direction, TXI's IR program was restructured and institutional ownership increased by more than 300% in five years. In 1987-1988, he served as President of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, the nation's largest chamber, with 7,500 members and a $12 million operating budget.

Halliburton holds a bachelor's degree from Delta State University, and an M.B.A. in Marketing, Finance and Economics from Mississippi College. He also has a master’s degree in International Management Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas, where he was the 2005 recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award. Alan is past president of the Dallas chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).

Alan is co-founder of the Grant Halliburton Foundation and currently serves on the board and is Chairman of the Governance Committee. In addition, he serves on the board of BBVA Compass Bank Dallas and on the board of Better Business Bureau, Dallas & northeast Texas.
