George is the CEO and portfolio manager at Sabrepoint Capital Management, a hedge fund based in Dallas with over $250 million in AUM. He has been a professional strategic gamer, practicing corporate lawyer, author and hedge fund portfolio manager. Mr. Baxter was previously a partner with Hirzel Capital Management, an equity hedge fund based in Dallas which managed over $1 billion in AUM. Prior to becoming an investment professional, Mr. Baxter was a private equity attorney with Weil, Gotshal and Manges. He has authored nine books and numerous articles on strategic gaming. Most recently, Mr. Baxter co-authored Understanding Behavioral Bias: a Guide to Improving Financial Decision-making with behavioral scientist Prof. Daniel Krawczyk. George is a CFA charter holder and he graduated from University of Texas School of Law and holds a BA from Texas A&M University.

C. Brett Scarbrough, CFA, CPA, joined LKCM in 2011 and serves as a micro, small and smid-cap analyst. Prior to joining LKCM, Mr. Scarbrough was an oil and gas investment banking financial analyst at Credit Suisse and a financial and operational analyst at Rawson, L.P. Mr. Scarbrough completed a general course at the London School of Economics.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economic Analysis from Rice University, a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He began his career in finance as an intern for LKCM.

Paul has been investing in and working for public companies for over 15 years. Prior to joining Punch & Associates, Paul worked as a research analyst with another buy-side investment firm in town. He also experienced first-hand the trials and tribulations inherent with small-cap companies while working in corporate development and strategy for a publicly traded renewable fuels and chemicals company. Paul graduated from Creighton University with a BSBA in Finance and Accounting and is a CFA® charterholder. Paul lives in Mendota Heights with his wife, Jenna, and their three young children. He enjoys reading, skiing, and anything that gets him outdoors.

Eric joined the firm in 1997 and also serves on the Board of Directors of the firm’s parent Company, Hodges Capital Holdings. Eric holds a BA in Finance from West Texas A&M University. He is an active member of the CFA Institute and the Dallas Society of Financial Analysts. Eric is a frequent guest on CNBC’s Squawk on the Street, Street Signs, and the Closing Bell, as well as on Bloomberg television, and Fox Business News. Eric is a portfolio manager to the Hodges Funds family of funds. Investments in these funds are identified through a process of rigorous fundamental analysis across multiple industries. Eric and his team of research analysts use a bottom-up approach to reveal opportunities in stocks that may be overlooked or misunderstood by more conventional approaches.

Dr. Harvey Rosenblum serves as a Research Associate for the Dallas Fed’s Globalization and Monetary Policy Institute, contributes to the Dallas Fed’s publications, and in 2013 he retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas as Executive Vice President and Director of Research. Rosenblum began his professional career in 1970 as an economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, where he advanced to become Vice President and Associate Director of Research in 1983.  He joined the Dallas Fed as Senior Vice President and Director of Research in 1985 and became Executive Vice President in 2005.

Rosenblum frequently speaks on a wide range of topics including The Economic Outlook, Monetary Policy, and Banking and Financial Regulatory Policies. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations.  A widely recognized expert on both the national and Texas economies, Rosenblum has written articles for many publications, including: the Journal of Finance, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and the Handbook of Banking Strategy.  His current research interests focus on banking and monetary policy, inflation, and the growing impact of globalization on the U.S. economy and business.

He is a past President of the National Association for Business Economics, a distinguished professional association whose 3,000 members represent the leading economists in the U.S. and around the world. Until recently he served on several Boards of Directors, including: as a Board member of the prestigious National Bureau of Economic Research; as Secretary-Treasurer and Board member of the Western Economics Association International; and as Executive Director and Board member of the International Banking, Economics and Finance Association.  He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of InfraREIT, Inc., a real estate investment trust that owns rate-regulated electric transmission and distribution assets in Texas.  Since January 2015, Rosenblum serves on InfraREIT’s Audit Committee and Conflicts Committee.  InfraREIT is an NYSE-listed company.

Dr. Harvey Rosenblum is also a professor of business and financial economics in the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University where he has taught since 1986.  At SMU’s Cox School of Business, Rosenblum currently teaches Monetary Policy and Financial Institutions in the MBA program, and Macroeconomics in the MBA and Executive MBA programs.  He was a visiting professor of finance at DePaul University from 1973 to 1985 and the University of Oregon for the 1977–78 academic year.

Rosenblum received a B.A. in economics from the University of Connecticut, and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
